This is the seventh book in her Anita blake series and I can't say it's a favorite. I don't like how Richard acts in this one and it didn't really have much going on it for as long as it was. I am kinda sad to see the friendship I guess it's called..between her and Dolph start to take a bad turn. Even as coworkers they had always seemed to be on the same page and now because he doesn't agree with her choice of dating the master of the city he acts weird to her. I don't really have alot to say about this as I don't feel much happend to discuss..

A Cure for Madness by Jodi McIsaac
This story was really interesting. I thought at first it would be along the lines of post apocalyptic but it wasnt. Which that part didn't bother me any. I like how it was written and how it sucked me in. The ending was sweet and an interesting turn I hadn't expected. Overall I'd probably give 4 out of 5 stars. I liked it but it didn't stir me in the "so good have to read now" kind of way.

Everything, everything by Nicola Yoon
It was a nice quick read and I didn't have any expectations going into it. I liked the story between Maddy and Olly. They had some really good chemistry. In the event I don't want to spoil, I'm happy she was able to see Carla again and have some new tastes in life after what she had gone through. I was not at all expecting the twist at the end and yet I still was really all that surprised. I was hoping there was more at the end with her and olly but that's okay. It was a good story.
Thanks for reading.

A court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
I have enjoyed this series so far so intensely it seems like. The 2nd book does have more sexual content then the first but it doesn't take up so much of the book that it's overwhelming or overdone.
I love LOVE the chemistry between Feyre and Rhysand. This book goes into so much more back story of his love for Feyre. From before they even physically met.. it's really beautiful. I love how this has been written and put together. I do have a few chapters left and I will add anything if I need to.
(Can't wait for book 3)
Thanks for reading.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
From the get go this book has been extremely captivating. I have been sucked in and on an enchanting and wild ride through this book. I have not finished it as of yet, however, I'm down to the last ten chapters. This books is really hard to put into words without spoiling anything. I loved how all the characters had been explained and captured in description. The storyline, from the get go, I said felt like beauty and the beast with a different kind of twist. And so far it has followed that way, and I'm eager to find out how it ends. It's really bittersweet, because I'm enjoying it so much I don't want it to end. Thankfully I have the next book ready to read as soon as this book ends.

Buried Bones by Carolyn Haines
It was a nice mystery read and I also enjoyed the first book. I'm curious enough to continue the series and will pick up the third book shortly.
The final trade by Joe Hart
This second installment to the trilogy was just as intense and good as the first book. I have found another author that I truly enjoy reading and will always read his work.
I did not want to put the book down whenever I had a chance to pick it up. Loved it and can't wait for the third and final installment.

Diabolical by Jana DeLeon
This book and series is super intense. This installment answered some of the questions of the first two books as well as opened questions for the next one. I'm eager for that book to come out in 2017! Can't wait.
I don't want to spoil anything so I won't add any spoilers but I can tell you this book had me sucked in!!

Steel Scars by Victoria Aveyard
This back story has more to do with the scarlet guard. I didn't find it as interesting and almost kinda boring and tedious. It doesn't reflect my feelings towards the series as a whole. I absolutely love this series and I'm anxious for the next installment.

The Choices We Make by Karma Brown
This book was heart warming.. the love and loyalty between two best friends.. the choices... the events.. and the turn to heartbreaking events and such a sad and unfortunate situation.. I'm still in a bit of an awe over it. Incredible book.

The Killing Dance by Laurell K. Hamilton (contains minor spoilers)
I have found myself really enjoying this series. This one was very intriguing.
I'm not crazy about Anita and Richard's relationship and I hope that it kinda ended. The intimacy between her and Jean Claude..and even the triangle whatever with Richard in it was pretty intense. Had a fair amount of action in it as well. The person who had put the hit on her was actually one I suspected by gut but of course the author made it sound like it was probably someone else until the big surprise reveal lol.
It was a good read and I plan to continue further with the series.
Sinful Cinderella by Anita Valle (contains spoilers)
I was a little bit unsure of this book. Related to not liking stepmother but the level was a little more extreme then my own. But it was understandabl. .
The plot twist with the prince was really shocking, and not expecting him to be abusive. I was hoping the outcome of the wager she held with Godnutter was going to turn our her favor until then but it didn't. I think the secrets and deception were interestingly tied in at the end as well as the stabbing of stepmother. I was not expecting that either..
I would go 3.5 stars..
It was better then I expected but I wasn't expecting much.
I like the author though..

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia
This book is the first in a series of four books. It was definitely interesting enough to keep wanting to read it, and the ending was not what I had expected. However, I have not decided of I am going to continue on with the other books as of yet.

Queen Song by Victoria Aveyard
This back story is okay and really not sure how necessary it is. I don't really feel like I learned anything new and interesting from this book..
Eager for the next book to come out next year.

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
This book was amazing. I loved it and it had me hooked and on the emotional Rollercoaster from the get go. I was a little shocked to find myself finishing it in 3 and a half days time. It's been awhile since I was able to finish a book so fast.
There was a few times I hadto put it down because it really struck the feels.

Bloody Bones by Laurell K. Hamilton
This book had held my interest a lot easier then a few of the previous books. Its been a little bit slow for me to get into the series though. The end of this book with one of the masters of the city and Anita was definetly intriguing. It was a pleasant read all around.
I wonder how the relationship with Richard and Jean-Claude end up. This book had more of Anita with J.C then Richard. I may not be done with this book review but I'm setting it aside for now to think on it more...
Thanks for reading

Red Queen and Glass Crown by Victoria Aveyard (both books)
I am super excited for the next 2 books to be coming out over the next couple years. I will definitely be reading and blogging about those. Both books and as well as the whole series so far, I would rate to be 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommended. More specific to the people who enjoyed reading the Hunger Games trilogy.
Thanks for reading
Mr. Penumbra's 24 hour bookstore by Robin Sloan
I would recommend this book as light but still adventurous. It kept me interested from start to finish and a solid plot.
As far as a rating for this book, I would say 4 stars. One of those I have read better but I have read worse.
Thanks for reading.
The Last Girl by Joe Hart ( may contain spoilers)
I loved how zoey looked out for lily and the little bird. The way she pushed through to survive despite the lives that were taken in the process. Somebody brought her in and nurtures her to full health and the willingness to put herself on the line to try and save the other women with group she just met knowing the mission was suicide. The success of the mission following more death. Its a rollercoaster for the emotions.
Conclusively I don't feel I wasted my time with this book. I wouldn't say it is at the top of my recommendations list, however if someone asked me if I read it and what I thought about it, I wouldn't have anything bad to say about it.
Thanks for reading.
