Red Queen and Glass Crown by Victoria Aveyard (both books)

I absolutely enjoyed these books. I read them close enough together that they kind of ran together but I don't mind. I'm glad the storyline stayed together so when one ended it picked up right where it left off. Which I would have appreciated even more i had red them further apart then I did.
I am super excited for the next 2 books to be coming out over the next couple years. I will definitely be reading and blogging about those. Both books and as well as the whole series so far, I would rate to be 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommended. More specific to the people who enjoyed reading the Hunger Games trilogy.

Thanks for reading

Mr. Penumbra's 24 hour bookstore by Robin Sloan

I thought the adventure with this bookstore was fascinating. The suspense of what was going to happen next, and if or when the character was going to get caught being mischievous. Bringing old books and technology was an interesting addition to the storyline.
I would recommend this book as light but still adventurous. It kept me interested from start to finish and a solid plot.
As far as a rating for this book, I would say 4 stars. One of those I have read better but I have read worse.

Thanks for reading.

The Last Girl by Joe Hart ( may contain spoilers)

This book had been fairly intense most the way through with some parts being so intense I couldn't wait to turn the page. I believe that it was pretty well written and the plot was solid. It kind of made me put present times in perspective in the sense of this actually happening. What our life would turn into. The twists and truths revealed are welcome. To find out that it wasn't really a plague that wiped out the ability for females to be born and that it was more then likely but not confirmed to be government related.
I loved how zoey looked out for lily and the little bird. The way she pushed through to survive despite the lives that were taken in the process. Somebody brought her in and nurtures her to full health and the willingness to put herself on the line to try and save the other women with  group she just met knowing the mission was suicide. The success of the mission following more death. Its a rollercoaster for the emotions.
Conclusively I don't feel I wasted my time with this book. I wouldn't say it is at the top of my recommendations list, however if someone asked me if I read it and what I thought about it, I wouldn't have anything bad to say about it.

Thanks for reading.
